The cornering lever on my 1994 impreza fails to reset after a left hand cornering function.

on left hand side on top of crank case near bell housing.

On the left hand side of the dashboard next to the fuse holder there is a lever that releases the hood latch. you will find it,just poke around.

You have a crossed or grounded wire in the system. Trace the wires and make sure there isn't a bare spot that is allowing the a positive to ground out.

With the connector positioned in the lower right hand corner, the upper row from left to right is: 4-6-5. The lower row is 3-2-1.

unless you have a diff-lock ,that is the deal .which wheel will dependon the load conditions etc for exampl;e ,a different wheel drives going around a left hand corner as opposed to aright hand corner.i hopeyou can understand the way i `ve explained it .

have you checked for the "reset" knock off switch/button,

turn off the heater tap under the bonnet by disconnecting the cable and sliding the lever ouve,if its stuck take off heater inlet and outlet water hoses and connect them,youve then bypassed your heater that will fix it

Hi the sump plug on your car is on the right hand side of the sump pan

hi mate try a thicker grade oil i'm not an expert on the turbo charged horizontaly apposed engine ...but i take it you are not the first keeper of the car so its probably had the wotsits raced out of it and seeing that its around the m reg it stands a chance age and the odd boy racer are unfortunately against it as i beleive that year was the first of the impreza ...try a 15 or a 20/40 oil failing that take the air intake pipe off and checkfor oil you will get a degree of oil in the pipe but not bucket loads good luck !!
