2002 Dodge Durango SXT 4.7L RWD shaking (serious vibration) badly between 70 to 80 mph

If it were me I would take out the drive shaft and check the play in the universal joints (I know you said they were replaced). Unlike ball joints they should exhibit good freedom of movement and flop from one position to the next as the shaft is rotated in the hand. Check that the bearing cup retaining clips are present on all sides. If there is any tightness in a bearing it is possible that either one of the cups has been pressed (hammered?) in too far or that a needle bearing was dropped from the outer race into the cup during assembly. Also check that the cup holders (arms) are not bent, sometimes if care is not taken to support the back of the 'arms' when installing the bearing cups the 'arms' will bend.

The rear drive shaft fell off the rear end and can be pushed in and out of the front end. what might be wrong? was making noise on deceleration previous to break.

There are supposed to be 2 c-clips on the u-joint caps that keep it from moving in the rear yoke. Did you install a new u-joint and forget them?

2001 dodge durango 4 wheel drive not working loud knocking

You need to check the cv joints in the front end or the u joints in the front drive shaft. If none of the above then the problem is internal in the front diff.

My 2002 durango has a clunk in the front end when my brakes are applied and released, and on a hard left turn reverseing out of my driveway that is felt in the steering.Have had it at the dealer several...

I don't understand what you mean by a bolt over!!!, But when they did all that other stuff did they happend to chk. the ball joints, I have a 2001 durango, and i recieved a letter from chys. that there was a recall on the ball joints on durangos and dakotas so the dealer change them at no charge to me. Sound to me to be a ball joint issue, at least it would be worth looking into.

HOW DO YOU TAKE THE DRIVE SHAFTS OFF A 2002 DODGE DURANGO

To remove the drive shaft you will need to raise the vehicle off the ground and support it with jack stands. There are 4 bolts that hold the rear drive shaft u-joint in the pinion yoke on the rear differential. Once you remove the bolts and u-joint straps, then just carefully pry the u-joint from the yoke. Be careful not to let the u-joint caps slip off of the u-joint or you could lose the needle bearings that are in the u-joint caps. Once you have freed the shaft at the rear you can just slip the drive shaft rearward to remove it from the transmission. Place a drain pan under the transmission where the drive shaft is connected, as transmission fluid will run out, and you don't want it dripping on the ground. If you vehicle is four wheel drive and you want to remove the front drive shaft, you remove it just like the rear shaft but there are bolts and straps on both ends of the front one. You will probably need to keep the front shaft from turning while you loosen the bolts. You can use a long screwdriver or pry bar inserted in to the area between the u-joint and the yoke.

2002 dodge durango rear drive shaft fell partially out the u bolts are not broken and the rear is not spun. . . .what now? how do i fix it?

You have to buy unversal joints for it get Heavy duty so it won't happen again. Its better to take the drive shaft off the truck you will more than likely beat them out make sure you pull the holding clips off the caps so they can come out. You can press the other ones in using a bench vise if not you will have to tap them in.
