Question about 1994 Mercury Grand Marquis
Try cleaning under the metal airhorn. It has 8 bolts and needs a $10 gasket. There is a channel like a "C" shape with a small straight channel in the middle. This provides flow to the EGR and can sometimes affect performance.
A fuel pressure regulator could be going bad too.
