Well if the fuses have power and the sockets are dead, either power is lost in the wiring harness, or you have a bad ground. I assume you have checked the socket with a meter or test light to see if the socket has power.

I have a tatol of 4 cigarette lighters and only 1 of them is working i have checked them all with a test light.

You should have one cig lighter and 3 aux power outlets. The cig lighter fuse is a 20amp in the fuse box in the engine compartment. The 3 aux outlets are on a Aux Pwr fuse in the rear fuse box.

SOURCE: need fuse box diagram 2002 gmc envoy

If I remember correctly if you look at the back side of the fuse cover, it should tell you what the fuses are. Also in the owners manual in the index, under fuses, it should give you a diagram of the fuse location for the acc. outlets. Good luck. The fuse should be a 20 or 25A fuse.

Check fuse 55 in the eng. comp. and check the power fuse "alt pwr" 20A in the driver's side fuse panel on side of dash.
I melted my right side power plug with a portable compressor and blew the fuse in the dash panel. I need to get a new power plug now.

Check the fuses for the power outlets. They are separate than the cigar outlet. They are located under the back rear seat on the drivers side.It will be fuse number 46 for power outlet 1 and 15 for outlet 2.Hope this helps.Good luck.

Where is fuse located for horn (driver) 2004. Gmc envoy

If possible, pull the horn relay, use jumper wire on switch side of relay, right side in diagram. If the horn sounds, it's not the fuse. Sometimes these diagrams don't post, for some reason? good luck

What would be the cause for a cigarette lighter not to work after replacement of the fuse in a 05 gmc envoy xl

Maybe it's the cigarette lighter? Try it on another car and if won'r work, simply buy a new cigarette lighter.

Hi I have a 2006 envoy and have a short in the wiring went to plug in my obd reader and there is no juice found a blown fuse replaced it blew right away fuse is { 2 amp ltr } can you please tell...

I think only the lighter and obd are on that circuit. But, the 2 amp fuse is much, much too small for the lighter, or anything else for that matter. Replace the fuse with a 30 amp fuse, and try the code reader again. If the fuse continues to blow, replace the cigarette lighter assembly.

As long as you use a slow charg device, yes. Rapid charge devices will blow the fuse or at worst can cause a fire.

Extra cigarette power outlets do not work

Hi, I just bought an '06 Envoy XL with the same problem. Just fixed it. There is a fuse box under the rear seat on the driver's side. Look for a 20A yellow fuse towards the center line of the vehicle. Check your owners manual if you need more clarity. Change that and I think you'll find the problem solved.
