SOURCE: vent door stuck and can't remove glove box

why can't you remove the glove box? You can get at the door from under the dash but it's a ***** to do. try lubing the vent cables unless it uses the vacuum motor, if it uses the vac. motor it will be hard to get to without the glove box being out.

SOURCE: remove golve compartment on 1999 chevy malibu

There's only so many screws that hold the glove box in. Some are inside the glove box and some are underneath. You may need a torx wrench depending on the type of screws holding the glove box in.

How to change ac blower motor on s10 chevy truck 2001

Go to your passenger dash . It should be accessible under the glove box. It probably has old papers from the glove box or tree leaves. remove 3 to 4 7mm screws that hold it in place. Drop the fan and re-install the new one or clean out the old.

I need to remove a radio from a 1989 Chevy Caprice. How do I do it?

1: Remove Ashtray
2: Remove Glove Box Door
3: Remove Glove Box (yes it is necessary)
4: Undo all screws on the center dash piece. there are two up top, two on the bottom and 2 or 3 under the dash
5: In the open space where the glove box is, find the temp control cable and unhook it from the heater box. Should be a screw and a fastener
5: GENTLY pull the panel loose. Remember this part is 20+ years old and not easily replaced if broken
6: Unhook all wires and vacuum lines from the rear of the climate controller remove all wires from radio.
7: unscrew the radio part of the center dash piece from the metal support frame. it should be str8 forward and easy to do.

I have done this a few times and it now takes about 10 minutes for disassembly but you should probably figure an hour to an hour and a half to do this.
