cam lobes not pushing valve spring stem
set the lash to spec. now, then,.
turn the crank by hand put the LOBEs on he heals. of the cam to valve and set latch. repeat on all valves.
all 4 solid lifter engines the same way, using eyeballs. on lobes
there is a way to cheat but most noobs get lost doing that.
this is day1 covered in all ASE classes (engine day)

if no cam viable rockers do same thing, moved

ours (USA) looks like this

Diesel right they only had gas in 1995 i think,
so is it direct injection (fuel rail direct?)
there are over 12, model H engines. 4Hxx all 12 are DI direct Inj.
so DI engines, have a ECU that injects. (much like modern gas engines,and huge injector pressure. , compared to port inj.)
so

1. check fuses first.
2. scan the PCM yet. ? that is 2nd, and mandatory.
3. fuel pressure good (tricky on Direct injection read the FSM yet)? Some engines have sensors here to see pressure, scanned
4. the PCM needs crank signals to inject. and reports them if bad.
5. the glow plugs work? i check voltage then use my current meter amp clamp tool to be sure all suck spec, current, if not fix that.

I have a 99 Isuzu rodeo under neither the steering colu.n u have a couple if female connectors not connected car lights don't work or car doesn't turn over lights do not turn on either

i believe your car is a drive by wire system meaning it has no throttle cable. if the car idles but no throttle response you will need to replace either the gas pedal or the throttle sensor...

hsa means HILL START AID. hsa is standard on isuzu's npr and nqr models fitted with manual transmission. hsa maintain truck-brake pressure until the clutch is engaged and limit vehicle roll-back. it is very effective for take-off on hills under load condition.
