I have a 1998 Olds Intrigue. The problem that I'm having is a misfires , lost power, white smoke ,trouble starting.

Sounds like you might have an Intake Manifold gasket issue. Pull the spark plugs and look for a plug that looks Brand New Clean. that will tell you hat you are getting Coolant into that cylinder

2007 ford sport trac 4.0 v6 new plugs wires been to the shop smoke tested no vacumm leaks but still misfires motor shakes misfires through exhaust only at idle runs great no cel or codes

First think I would do is start your vehicle and start to pull the plug wires one at a time, when doing this you should hear the motor bog down when you pull a plug wire, in the event you do not hear it bog down then that means that cylinder is dead. 1. see if it getting spark to the plug 2. if not that could mean that coil going to that plug is bad, but that should come up on a scanner, but one never knows. Good Luck

Hi, I have Saab 9-3 1.9 TID 150 with 113,000 on clock.

Crank and no start. Study these pages and you may be able to identify your problem.......
Crank No Start

It should not be blowing smoke though. Can you advise the colour of the smoke from the exhaust?

If the smoke was whitish in colour this indicates there is coolant leaking into one or more of the combustion chambers which is a bad sign. You did mention the engine was misfiring which is possibly indicative of low compression due to a combustion leak.
If there is coolant leaking into the cylinder(s) this will be via a failed head gasket or a crack in the cylinder head or both.

How do I find the cause of not getting any fuel to the engine?

How about a Vehicle & Motor & test results

Scan Tool Data would help

Misfire Counts,Fuel Trim,vehicle maintenance history

If you have a Chevy Blazer- the fuel pressure regulator
& spyder are under the intake & could be the problem

Lots on the internet on that & video

You have OBD Codes-what are they? Google them

Don't see how you would think changing the spark plugs
would be the only issue

Engine cylinder #2 misfire and smoke coming from rear of motor and will not start.

Well, you may have an oil leak, but #2 missfire may mean a few things.
Pull #2 spark plug and see what's up.
be sure you are getting spark to #2.
Check for a vacuum leak,also.

Truck shakes when started, smokes blue, lots of blow by

Blue smoke on starting is a sign of oil in the engine cylinders. .
Excessive fuel would be black smoke on starting. I am concerned that it happens when starting. This is an indication of a valve issue. Bent, broken, bad spring, wallowed guides. This repair is not going to be cheap. Only way to know for sure is either a compression test or leak down test.

Sputtering engine while in passing gear

At 150000 miles the plugs start to fail under hard acceleration the higher compression blows out the spark before it ignites the fuel. Random cylinder misfire causes the check engine light to come on. change the plugs!

Lot of blue smoke out of exhaust when starting up and does not sound right

Your buring oil. Bring vehicle to a repair shop this way they can determine whetherits a pcvor transmission vacuum switch thats causing it or is it engine mechanical.
