SOURCE: vw bora 1900 diesel dti

Contrary to Georgies belief, this sounds more like you Air mass meter is either Faulty/ knackered, new mass metres can be bought for about 70 to 80 quid and are really easy to change.

(Air mass metres measure the amount of air your engine is intaking and supply the appropiate amount of fuel, if your mass metre is not working correctly you car will be like a standard diesel engine rather than a turbo, car will be really sluggish/ very little acceleration)

Just do a quick search on VW air metres and this should confirm the above. I can almost 100% guarentee thats the fault on your car

SOURCE: Temp sensor needs to be replaced

this does not mean the sensor is defective, it most likely means the engine thermostat is stuck open and the engine is not running hot enough to satisfy the computers preset temp requirements for minimum eng operating temp.

SOURCE: 1999 f350 diesel engine shut down, turns over but

that fuse powers pcm fuel heater and some other things. when the fuse blows the pcm shuts down. causing it to not run. usually its the heater that is bad. it is located at the back driver side by the fuel pump. you can unplug it and see if it starts. if so you will need to replace the heater

1.9 dti opel pick up wont start

It could be an Immobilizer fault, if the spanner /car light comes on.
If you have a spare key, try it
A Flashing spanner light normally means immobiliser fault hence the non-start. The spanner light left might just be an indication that it has stored the "wrong transponder" code.
Opel will have to clear this but you might need a CIM as well that is the bit that reads the key to allow it to start.
Try the spare key if you have one

On 1.7 DTi models, a defective solenoid in the pump can cause failure of the ECU due to excessive current draw causing components to burn out. but this *should* cause other fault codes to appear.

My opel 1.7 dti jerks when driving

diesel engine surging could have partially clogged fuel fiter, fuel injectors could be worn or dirty, fuel pump could be failing, i would replace fuel filter first have fuel injectors checked out, if you see check engine light flashing have vechicle code scan first before buying new parts.also replace air filter, diesel engine needs good volume air to work efficiently.

Corsa utility not starting after running out of fuel

Is this the diesel model? If it is a diesel model it first needs to be bleeded. If this is the case, it is not a very serious problem, but quite annoying and difficult to perform.
