I own an old Philips radio set, can I fix a modern aux port onto the set to accept 7mm jack plugs?

Not sure what the gram mark would be, but the loud speaker would definitely be an output. You will need an input to add a 7mm input jack. Does the radio have an aux input setting?

Auxillary water pump

a great AUX water pump can be added on most vehicles by adding a TEE to the heater hose that feeds your heater core. Although your heater will not be as hot. Assuming that is not an issue.

From the TEE, add a hose to an electric water pump from a HVAC company. There are many and they are designed for hot water and pressure. if it is just pumping you want, then run the output right back to the radiator ( top hose - typically ) and it will be cooled by the radiator.

If you are looking for MORE cooling capacity, then run your AUX water through another radiator or coil of copper someplace convenient, and then back to the radiator. Depending on your needs, make the pump as large as your heat problem demands. remember - if your engine is not running and feeding this type of system, you may starve the AUX pump for water. the engine water pump is priming the AUX pump in this configuration. Good luck , Be cool :)

I would like to add an aux. tank to my 1990 GMC C1500 ext cab short bed like GM did in the 80's (or later I hope). Got any ideas? **** Thorpe N. Las Vegas Nv. Dickiedo1@cox.net

Check around parts places online - good old JC Whitney carries aux tanks but I suspect you can get better price if you shop around. Check some of the camper supply places.

I have the same exact problem, er 02

Try cleaning the CD with a CD cleaner that you can buy at any electronic store like Radio Shack. The CD lens may be dirty and is having a hard time reading the CD. Good luck and hope this helps, and yes your going to have to send the CD player out to have a aux jack installed. Look for any electronic repair shop to add the aux jack, good luck and hope this helps.

Stereo

The aux is for the cd player, there is no wire in the back for an aux. But you can buy an adapter that splices into the back which allows you to use the stereo to control your ipod. It only works because you could have a 6 cd changer stock, so it uses those controls.

Add Music Link to 2008 Rigeline

I haven't done this to my ridgeline, but I did it to my 1992 accord.  You can have any auto radio shop add a wire from the aux input on the back of the factory radio that comes out in a hidden place, like one of the little storage places under the radio.  Just plug it into your ipod and push the XM/AUX button on your radio, and you're good to go.  Should cost under $100.
