Trying to locate the freeze plugs on an 06 nissan quest

They are on the engine block. Depending on the engine size, usually 2 or 3 on the side and 2 between engine and transmission right below each head.
If you have a timing belt and you noticed coolant leak from front of engine, it could be coming from the water pump inside the timing belt cover.

06 titan truck won't accelerate even when the gas

If the engine RPM's increase when the gas pedal is floored, you have a transmission problem or a problem with your shift cables.

If the engine RPM's don't change when the gas pedal is floored, you have a throttle pedal cable problem or throttle body problem.

You will need an experienced mechanic to diagnose this problem as it is very dangerous to operate the vehicle under these conditions.

I have a 2005 titan which has the electronic shifter lever. I cannot get the shifter to engage and drop to a lower gear. I press the button and it still will not move.

Took my 06 Titan in today for same problem.Dealer said Nissan made wires to short in steering colum and they pulled apart. $277 and 2 Hr. labor at $98=$474. Need to replace whole shifter they said. This should be a recall and under warranty. I'm calling them and let them know what I think!

Go to a reputable transmission shop and find out about re-calibrating your speed sensor. They should be able to take care of that for you.
