It should have come with instructions. Big thing is, you really don't want to tow anything with a focus. That transmission isn't made to haul anything except that car.
go to a muffler / tow bar fitting shop and see if there is a trailer harness available
if there is it is a simple piggy back plug on a tail light assembly
If not you will have to identify each wire and there is a piggy back connector that allows you t place a trailer wire in it and it closes over the existing wire and you use pliers to press the section together to clip it
AS you do this a small metal clip connects the existing wire to the wire you placed in the clip Get several color wires for this so that you can easily identify which wire connects to which light
yes you do for left and right signal lights to function also hazard lights need both sides, they may make a kit you can just plug into the car harness, check with your local NAPA
remove the plastic cover directly behind the mirror on the inside of the door, it just clips off normally with a flat blade or knife (Blunt knife if possible as a sharp one may cut the upholstery)
Once removed you should be able to see the retaining bolts that hold the mirror to the door.
If you have electric mirrors there should be a multi wire electrical plug you will have to disconnect before removing the mirror.
Hope this helps
