Feels like Transmission is slipping... When driving the seems to want to stall when accelerating between 45-60mph. The dealership has been unable to find anything wrong. I was told rather than have them...

Does this have rough idle? not yet? what type of oil do you use? ....45-60mph and they cant or wont? This vehicle is equipt with a camshaft postion actuator, this in return controls cam angle ****** and cam angle advance.. They need to hook a labsope and see what the cam phase is and a flight recorder to see where it is. You need to ask that question to them here is the result burnt exhaust valve that you will buy.
45-60mph almost like TCC commands . can you tell them to reflash the transmission?

97 Expedition, 5.4L hesitated during acceleration 40-45MPH. Check Engine light flashed, then stayed on. Would get up to 55-60MPH. All guages read ok. First trouble ever with this car.

go to a parts store and they will let you use their scanner for free. sounds like a cylinder misfiring. The scanner will tell you which one it is.
