Aux Power Out/checked fuses 2008 Impala

I have no power coming through each of the 3 aux outlets in my Impala. I checked both the 25amp fuse under the hood and the 20 amp and 25 amp fuses below the glove box.

A clip? I'm just curious because I'm having the same issue on the same exact kind of car, same year, so any additional info you could provide is appreciated.

If it were me I would change the fuse before I made a trip to the dealership. Probably spend more money in gas getting to the dealership than just changing the fuse.

Check the socket wiring, especially the grounding connection. Wiring grounds are a notorious problem in modern autos.

Auxiliary power outlet not work

Some of the outlets are on the aux fuse in the passenger compartment, and the others are on the AUX PWR fuse in the fuse box near the battery.
Your owners manual should list the fuse locations.

My lighter doesnt work, i have two and one doesnt work

There are actually FIVE cigarette lighter/ Auxilliary Power Outlets shown in the wiring diagrams for your vehicle.
The Instrument Panel [1] Accessory Power Outlet (Cigarette Lighter) is protected by the "LTR" Fuse (# 53 - 20 Amp) in the Power Distribution Center (PDC) in the engine compartment.

The Instrument Panel [2] Accessory Power Outlet is protected by the "AUX PWR" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash.

The Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet and the (two) Center Console Power Outlets are protected by the "AUX PWR 2" Fuse (20 Amp) In the Instrument Panel Fuse Block on the left side of the dash. NOTE: If your vehicle is not equipped with the Center Seat Accessory Power Outlet, or the Custom Floor Console (optional), this fuse position will most likely be empty.

How to fix my 2006 stratus aux power outlet

I had a 2001 dodge stratus R/T. My mirror auto dim, digital compass and temp screen, and aux power outlet blew out because I had a power inverter plugged in and tried run something to required to much power. I was just a simple fuse. Go to the fuse box inside the car, not under the hood and check the small diagram on the cover and replace the required fuse. Good Luck.

Power outlets not working on 2008 Chevy Equinox

Replace the Aux Pwr fuse. On the 2008 Equinox, this fuse is in the fuse block under the hood. It is fuse number 3, 20A (yellow), located on the left side as you're looking it, in the slot immediately forward of the fuse puller tool. Way too late for Kevin256, but I just did this on my daughter's '08 Equinox and it fixed the problem.
