How do I fix codes p1594 and p1693 on a 02 dodge 5.9 diesel.

Possible causes for the P1594 are: - Faulty Ambient/Battery temperature sensor
- Faulty Alternator
- Alternator harness is open or shorted
- Alternator electrical circuit poor electrical connection
The P1693 is usually a companion code that is associated with the P1594 code. Hope this helps.

2001 dodge ram 2500. I am getting 3 service codes 1693 1694 and 1698 what are the and how do I fix them? I just had a new engine controller put on. Any ideas

P1693 - A companion DTC was set in both the ECM and PCM
P1694 - No CCd message from PCM - Aisin transmission
P1698 - No CCd message from TCM
I would check the connections from the new engine control. Are these codes that show up new or have they not been cleared from a previous problem. Be sure all codes are cleared, Hope this helps. Let me know. Thanks

Fault codes 2001 dodge 2500 truck p1594 p0753 what do they mean?

p1594 means the charging system voltage is too high. p0753 means the electrical solenoid 'A' has a problem. probably went bad and caused the other code p1594 to happen. replace solenoid.

2001 dodge ram 2500 5.9l automatic 2wd. code p0753. replaced pcm, relay, tranny solenoids, checked wiring to relay. has anyone seen this?

go to, type in P0753 dodge code. when you get your search results,it should be the second one down,it should look something like what I typed after this at the bottom part of the second result, maybe the 3rd.instead of ma trying to explain it again, just go there and you will find a detailed list of how to check and test, and even replace all parts associated with this code, there is even pictures to look at also.
