It is possible that one or more bulb is the wrong type. Make sure that all turn signal bulbs are the correct ones and have the same number on them (i.e. 1156;1157 etc.) You can look this up at an auto parts store, or have a sales representative look it up for you. If they are all the same, check all the light sockets for white residue, rust, and corrosion. Also check the wiring for frayed or burned (melted) insulation. Replace any damaged wires or sockets, or bulbs.
I hope this information helps you in fixing your lights. Thank you.

Hello. It seems your vehicle has a 'shorting/malfunctioning turn signal switch and/or 'grounding' wires in the wiring harness. Good luck and keep me informed; if you want to.

Turn signal not working on a 05 impala

Have you checked the fuse for the signal lights yet? Verify the switch is getting power. Also the signal is produced by the BCM module not a flasher like in older cars. BCM is a module that controls most body electronics. See picture below.

Where is the electronic turn signal flasher on a 2008 Ford Taurus X, Limited

That Uhaul harness is the first thing to check. Next would be the ground wire/s at the rear lamp. Your problem is that when the head lights are off, the rear light is grounded the the headlights(no power to the headlights). When you turn the head lights on, you loose the ground because the headlights over power the rear ground. Your flasher is not the problem. Use the OHM part of the meter(lowest setting) to check for ground. Anything above 5 Ohms is a wire replacement.

Flasher relay location on 1964 impala ss

I think what you need is just the flasher itself and this is a silver colored round can that should have 2 or 3 prongs for the contacts that plug into the fuse box if you turn on your flashers or signals while touching the flasher you should feel a click you might have 2 one for each turn signals/emergency flashers and the other could be connected to a plug in the harness next to the fuse box so look for 2 and see which one is working sometimes they are dual and only one is used for both turn signals /emergency flashers I can't remember exactly what yours has its been 40 years since I had one but you will be looking for what was described above LATER MAN!

Turn Signals Don't Work

You did not list the flasher as being replaced if not try that. When you turn the turn signals on this overrides the brake lights (same circuit) and that one will blink (if the flasher is good)

Fast Turn Signals

I believe your aftermarket headlights have leds as your signal lights. They are now flashing faster because your electronic flasher module / unit is designed to measure current resistance to regulate the flash interval. As LED lights draw much less power than filament bulbs, the module thinks the lights are burnt out. Your hazards work on a timer to flash at intervals and does not work on the resistance.

You will need to replace the electronic flasher module / unit with one that is rated for LED. This unit should be under your dash near your steering column and will be labeled. The new one you replace it with should have LED stamped on it.
