If you don't see it in the engine bay, trace the fuel line from the tank along the frame rail up to the engine. Sometimes the filter is placed just off the fuel tank , but in the line along the frame rail.

passenger side under car ,10mm socket ,remove bracket ,press in plastic retainer and pull filter or fuel line on both side,install new filter with arrow facing forward inside bracket, crank about 2 times and it should start

if your talking about the air mixture screws in front of the carb,they are easy to do,
have your truck warmed up so no choke is in use,turn one screw in slowly untill you hear the engine starting to slow in RPM's,now turn it out slowly untill you hear the engine running at its highest RPM's,then do the same to the other screw

you can buy an itake to convert it you dont need to change the heads the 4 center bolts have just a slightly differant angle then change the distributar slap a carb on and put an inline fuel pump and your good to go
