Question about 2006 Suzuki Forenza
I have a 2003 Suzuki Forenza. recently the brake + battery warning light turns on and off after driving the car for a bit. I changed the battery already and still having the same problem. someone said it was the alternator starting to die, another said a faulty voltage regulator and another said it was just the serpentine belt or belt tensioner. I don't know who to believe
Sound like alternator faulty.remove it let auto parts store person check it out.

Speed Sensitive Power Steering
(SSPS) Warning Light
Your vehicle is equipped with Speed Sensitive Power Steering (SSPS).
This is a computer-controlled power steering assist system.
The warning light you are describing will come on briefly when you turn the ignition to ON as a check to show you the bulb is working.
Then it should go out after a few seconds. If the warning light does not come on, have it fixed so it will be able to warn you if there is a problem.
If the warning light stays on, or comes on while you are driving, the SSPS system may not be working.
Your computer will need to be scanned to determine what the problem is with your SSPS system.
