By pass the starter motor, and try it you will have another point view see the diagrams attached. the first one is for to bypass and the second is the normal starter motor.

SOURCE: where is the pcv valve on the 2005 chevy trail blazer

Dear hispeed3,

If you haven't bought the part yet and are planning on replacing it ...i'd go to the auto parts store and ask them for the part location. They are usually glad to do this. I know Advanced Auto Parts does this for me.

Are you having a problem with your 2005 Chevy Trail Blazer?
If so...I'm here for you!

SOURCE: where is the pcv valve on the 2005 chevy trail blazer

It is located on top of the valve cover. Buy the new one and you will see what it looks like, then you will pull the hose off of it and put the new one on, 5-minutes at top to do this job.

if this is the vortec engine you may want to check to confirm that the injector pot is working. The injector pot is located under the air intake manifold (top half only) & PLEASE BE SURE TO DISCONECT BATTERY FIRST. if you unbolt the top half of the intake manifold you will find the main injector pot otherwise known as the SPIDER. This part does have a history of failing and can be very costly to replace if you purchase it new. most junk yards should be able to find one for you.

SOURCE: 2001 Ford Explorer Sport wont start

Even though I bought the vehicle new, there was an aftermarket security system installed. The system had a bad diode, so i removed the system and reconnected the factory wires.

It is a 1997 Chevy Blazer. I looked under the hood their is no fuse box for a starter relay fuse. I am trying to figure out where it is located. The starter works but the car won't start. We replaced the...

IF THE MOTOR WILL START WHEN YOU JUMP START, THE BATTERY IN THE BLAZER MUST BE LOW. USE A D.C. VOLTMETER, THE VOLTAGE AT THE BATTERY WITHOUT JUMPER CABLES, SHOULD NOT DROP BELOW 9 VOLTS WHEN THE STARTER IS TURNING. THERE IS A CRANK FUSE IN THE INTERIOR FUSEBOX. & A STARTER RELAY UNDER THE HOOD. BUT IF THE STARTER IS TURNING, THOSE ITEMS ARE WORKING. THEY ARE ONLY TO MAKE THE STARTER TURN. GOOD LUCK, DRVOLT.

Will not shift back into 2 wheel high. To get back into 2 wheel high from 4 weel high must disconect battery cable for 30 min then reconect.

Sounds like the switch. Pull it to see if there is a loose connection. If the connections are good, replace the switch.

The speedometer has quit working. is pegged at 100 MPH.

Disconect your battery cables and rub them together or step on the brake pedal for a couple of minutes to drain all residual voltage from the computers. Leave disconected for about 10-15 minutes reconect the battery and see if the speedo has normal operation, if not you need a new instrument cluster

My husband just needs to know where is the location of the starter relay on our '97 chevy Blazer 4.3 engine, 4x4? Is it near the passenger side or the drivers side?

When you go to start the engine you are actually sending power from the ignition switch through a 20 amp fuse [crank fuse] then through the Park/Nuetral safety start switch and finally to the starter relay [located at the center rear of the engine compartment] This relay then sends a more powerful current flow down to the starter solenoid located on top of the the starter which then closes and allows full battery voltage from the large battery cable to energize and spin the starter. I don't think I've ever had to replace a starter relay on these but have replaced a large number of starters with bad solenoids and bad Park/nuetral switches. The "crank" fuse could also be bad but that is also pretty rare.

Sounds like the bendix is stuck in the starter. When this happens, the starter energizes and turns, but the gear does not kick out to make contact with the flywheel. Have someone tap on the starter while cranking the engine.
