SOURCE: How do I replace the Rear Brake light bulb of 2001 Toyota Sienna?

I have a 2001 Sienna and have had to replace most of my tail light bulbs.

The bulbs that are mounted in the fender (wrap arounds) have acess panels in the van's interior that easily pop out and expose the back of the light assembly.

However, the bulbs that are found in the lift gate are a different matter. You have to remove the whole interior panel to the lift gate to expose the light assemblies. Go to your auto parts store and get a tool to help pop out the plastic retainers from the lift gates metal frame. Don't force the retainers out. Go slowly and gently so that you don't damage the interior panel. If you are really gentle you might even get to reuse the retainers.

Good luck!

SOURCE: malfunction indicator lamp in my toyota corolla is on how i fix?

The check engine light also called the malfunction indicator comes only when the computer control unit (called the PCM) senses a fault in the electronic controls of the engine and/or the emission system, there are about 200 possible faults that turn the light on, to know what has developed a problem you must have the system tested, this is called an OBD2 fault code test, Kragen and Autozone parts stores do this testing for free.

Why does the malfunction indicator light come on? I have a 2000 Toyota Sienna and the light has just started coming on. I've always kept up the maintenance schedule and it has 114,000 miles.

What that is the engine computer pick up a bad signal from one of your engine sensor's, you'll need to have engine computer diag done to know what's going on, most repair shop's can do this service, Autozone can do this for free, but dont buy the part till it's check by auto tech, this way you know some what what's wrong.Good Luck.

Pedal position sensor circuit malfunction. That's what the code means. You will probably have to replace the sensor. Go to autozone .com to check location. Maybe they have it there.

I have a toyota sienna 2002 but the malfunction indicator lamb is on. What will I do? I don't have the manual.

The indicator light means that the van's computer has detected an error(s)

Many auto parts stores will plug in a reader into the port under the steering wheel and tell you the error codes for free. These codes begin with P0 ,,, Look up the codes you get on the net. We have seen just about all of them with our 2001.

Get the codes first - then go from there.
