Ac blows cold air for a few mins. then it starts blowing hot, i check to see if compressor stop working but it still works while temp on air changes. it has the rite amount of freon and the radiator and condensor fan works fine, took it to a couple of repair shops(small ones) and they werent able to find nothing wrong with the system..need some help!
I have had a similar problem quite a few years ago. You don't mention the model or year of your vehicle. It could be a relay that is on the firewall just below or behind the firewall in engine compartment in front of driver's side of the car. It took a really savvy MB mechanic an hour to locate and fix after 2 months in other shops, including an MB dealership. Mine was a 1988 560SEL that had that problem. After that was fixed, it worked perfectly for another 5 years - at which time I sold the car.
I hope this helps...
SOURCE: blower on heater not working
i am no expert on this type of car but you can try this. first i would see if you got power from the switch. if you can get to them. if no power than i would say it is the switch. but also i would find out if there is a resister for the heater. if there is this could also be the problem. heater resisters chg. the speeds for the heater motor and also make heater motor run. its either located on the heater box or the air evaporator box if it has one.

I think that this might help you. The a/c compressor is a continuos running type there is no clutch. It has a wobble plate internally wich changes the piston stroke. Screw the genises machine-it is probably only reading a partial on the climate control module. see if you can find the self diagnoses diagram either from the factory or if you have all data. you can pull the codes right from the unit itself and they will be accurate. If you can,t pull codes see if you can get an actual value of the sensors in the a/c unit. You should be able to pull that up as well if not try the genisis. Look very closely at you evaporater sensers(left and right) you will probably see a -40 degrees-that is the sensor default input reading when the sensor goes open. That sensor is used to moniter the wobble plate position of the compressor.

this problem is A/c system leaking.add enough freon R134A will solve the problem .but you must check where is leaking important.

If you have the hood up stand outside while someone activates your air off and on and see if the clutch on the compressor goes on and off while they activate the switch. If that isn't it the it could be improperly charged system or your climate control door that opens and closes for hot or air is not working properly and only stays on heat.
