I have a 1992 saturn 4cylinder twin cam. the saturn will drive and then die . I will wait about 10 minutes, then i can restart car again drive and then die. I have replaced fuel filter and changed out fuel pump. But has not made difference

More then likely the Ignition module inside the distributor is bad . Videos on youtube on testing

Sounds like a crank or cam sensor or even a coil pack problem.Do you have any codes or check engine lite on?

its not your crank positioning sensor. all the CPS does is control your spark plugs up to around 500 rpms (while trying to start) once started the ECM takes over that function in conjuction with your cam position sensor

Whom ever told you that the Saturn's where hard to find parts for it is wrong. I used to own a 1992 Saturn SL1, and had no problem finding parts at the local Autozone or Napa stores.
I believe that your fuel filter is either located on the frame rail just under between the drivers and rear seats; or possibly under the hood in-line just before the fuel rails/ injectors. I wish I would have never gotten rid of mine, it was a great little car.

mine would do th same i would die after it would warm up it ended up being the control module for your ignition replaced that after the plugs and plug wires works like a champ

my only guess is a vacuum hose leak. possibly a loose air filter housing, or the mass air flow sensor. look for any hoses unplugged. if nothing is noticed, try cleaning out your fuel system. if that doesnt solve it, then it would be something an experienced mechanic would have to come and examine it personally.

It could be something as simple as a bad or loose ground wire but the hard part is finding it.

Sounds like your timing belt is one tooth off on the cam, this I have seen before especially if it is a twin overhead cam. One tooth off will make it idle really low when stopping at the light especially if the engine is warm.

can you keep the engine running if you use the throttle?
does having the AC on help or hurt. check for loose or split vacuum lines comming off the throttle body.

check to see if the catalytic converter is clogged,loosen bolts at exhaust manifold if engine stays running , cat is beginning to clog
