SOURCE: 2002 door panel

gently pry around the edges of the door panel, you'll hear about 7-8 connectors pop out, then the panel will come off. the new regulator will likely come with replacement connectors in case you break one. hold the window up with screwdrivers and loosen the bolts where the window rests on the lifter. from there i believe there are just 3-4 bolts holding the regulator in, and it comes out pretty easily compared to other cars ive done. just reverse to reinstall. another note, the window rests 2 pieces of flat rubber folded over (like a taco is the best way to describe it) and after time they can get stuck on the glass. GENTLY pry them off because some rubber stuck to the window and it wouldnt fit in the new regulator, so i had to take it all back out and scrape the rubber off the window

SOURCE: Instructions on how to remove a rear door panel

Firstly, if you don't know how...I doubt you can remove it anyway. Take it to your local car stereo installation shop and ask them NICELY to take it off - explain what the problem is (lemme guess the window/lock doesn't work).
Good Luck

SOURCE: Remove right rear door panel 2003 Buick LaSabre

You'll need to remove screws that are by the door handle, arm rest, under door and side of door and then gently pull back on the panel as there will also be retaining clips attached and you don't want to break them. You'll need to lift the door panel upwards in order to get it off the window ledge. If needed, you can pull back the weather seal (can't reuse it, but it's not that important) and you will be able to access everything inside the door

How do I remove the door panel of a 2011 Buick Regal, driver's side door?

Step by step instructions follow with pictures.

Using a plastic trim tool, remove the aluminum piece on the door handle and the two bolts underneath. (T15 I believe.)
: Using same trim tool, remove the plastic trim behind door handle and remove screw using same T15 as before.
Step 3: Same trim tool again, remove the door panel, bottom to top and lift off of the window channel. Watch for the metal clips to fall. Some will. Two go on the door panel and two go on the door itself.

HOW TO REPLACE REAR QUATER GLASS 98 REGAL

  • The best thing to do is go to u pull or pic n pull self serve junk yard.
  • let them search their inventory for your vehicle/part so that you know all of the models/years that use the same exact part.
  • Remove the back side window track with the window attached taking care not to break anything, even the stuff you don't need. If you break anything, make note so that when you remove yours, you make sure not to break your parts. Also, if you do break something, you might go to another vehicle in junk yard to try again. If it works, buy that part too because you might still break it on dissassembly of yours.
  • When I did this, I had to remove the trim molding/seal on the outside and the door panel on the inside. you may have to unattach moving window from the regulator mount in order to get the whole track with quarter window out of the door.

Driver side window bracket

That is usually a big job. If you can get the door pad off maybe the front or rear track can be fixed. At leased the window can be put back temporarily. Most door pads have 2 or 3 screws. (look in holes). The electric switches should pop up and remove wire connectors. With a flat tool ,go around door pad edge and pop up clips. .Then lift pad up off top. Tricky Buisiness.

On my 1991 buick regal custom, driver window jump off track when you let up but stay on track when going down

I believe that should have guides in the back (maybe two) and possibly one in the front of the glass. Normally you can't see the guides as they snap into a verticle track and hold the glass straight.
If it is a model where it has those guides (most GM's of the time had them) you should see a stainless steel track inside the rubber when the window is down. There would also be holes in the edges of the glass if the guides are missing.
Some times those guides wear or the track gets spread open slightly.
If this is the case, you can try to close up the track a little by squeezing it and/or replace the guides.

If its not guides it may be a damaged roller where you would need to remove the door panel and inspect.

Trying to remove the door panel on the rear driver's side door of a 1991 Buick Regal Limited to check the window motor. Removed 3 screws, popped all the plastic holders around edges of door, but there...

Are you talking about the door handle hinge? The door handle and hing do not need to be removed to remove the door panel. Remove the door handle bezel and the hole will be big enogh to come straight off with the door panel. See the picture below. This is the only diagram supplied in the service manual. It shows the bezel for the driver's door but it states that the rear door is similar. If you allready have the bezel off, or you are not talking about the door handle hinge, I don't know what you are talking about when you say "hinge thing"

How do you replace a rear power window regulator on a 2001 Buick Regal?

take the inner door panel off and Then locate 1" holes stamped into the metal of the door. lower window so hidden bolts holding the window to the regulator appear in these hols and remove, push glass all the way up and brace as not to let it fall and hit your hand or break. Then locate 3 to 5, 10mm nuts, located on the inner metal face of the door that hold the regulator to the door, and remove. Remove regulator then window lift motor. (caution when seperating some regulators from thier motor, because some are spring loaded....finger removers).
good luck!
