there's a problem on your alarm sensor, try to go to your nearest dealer for that matter.

SOURCE: VW Beetle Alarm goes off for no apparent reason

the sensitivity on the alarm itself is too high, or there is something around the car that is interfering with the frequencies that are sent / received by the alarm itself, like other car alarms, power lines (mine actually did it when i parked under a power line) or the alarm unit itself is malfunctioning.

make sure that nothing is around to the (other cars with alarms) or look up under your dash, above your pedals (might have to take the trim plate off) and / or turn the sensitivity knob (flat-head screw driver, or just a simple protruding knob) down. make sure the battery in the remote is good too. if it stil ldoes it after this, then your remote needs to be reprogrammed.

SOURCE: intermittently, when I lock the

Sounds like the sensors are bad. Night time brings, moist and cold air which make the sensor more susceptible to malfunction. I suggest testing your sensors (depending on your can you, the interior lights may stay on). Alternatively if you have an after market alarm system, the sensitivity may be set to high.

Hi, Vauxhall Vectra 53 Plate 1800 SXi - alarm sounds without apparent reason, usually in the early hours ?? What may be the fault please ? Thank you

it can be a faulty battery in the alarm unit. when the battery is not charging for whatever reason it send a trigger and the alarm will set off. has been a problem on some vauxhalls over the years. would have it checked out as it can get worse.

Radiator fan on all the time on vauxhall insignia sri 59 plate

The fan on the insignia is electrical it is designed to stay on for a short while once the engine is turned off in order to cool the engine and is on a timer relay system controlled by the cars ECU.
Check the fan about 15 mins after you stop it should have gone off by that time if it hasnt it needs to go to an auto electrician to be checked out. Insignias as all modern cars are extremley complex so its best to get it checked by a garage rather than try to fix it yourself.

Pontiac G6 Sedan Alarm

You have sensors all over the car designed to trigger the alarm. If they are of the normally closed variety, then one of them is stuck open so that when you turn off ignition the alarm is activated by the open switch. Locate all switches and test each and every one for opening and closing when activated. You will come across one that is open all the time. Replace it or jump it to remedy situation temporarily..
