Given the vehicles age,I don't know what
your referring to,the trans,the tranfer case?
Obviously we can't guess
I would say you have worn out parts somewhere
Need a knowledge person or repair shop that
knowa how to at least listen to it & road test & lift
I would say something has to come out & be repaired
at a considerable expense

hi mine has just started doing the exact thing. 4h lets me drive a few yards then it bangs and pops back into 2h. did u solve the problem thanks

these are seal bearing and they need to be press out and press back in this need to be done with a hydralic press not with harmer i can help if yopu are in the nyc are call me 718-821-1640
