What should I look for when my 2003 Chevy Suburban runs BAD and the engine light flashes every time I drive it in the rain?

Could be a short some where under the truck that the water is shorting it, or a cracked light cover letting in water and shorting it there.

I have a 2002 Chevy suburban and the reduced engine light came on what does that mean

Its telling you your vehicle has been placed in limp mode to prevent damage. You need to have your computer checked for codes that should lead to the issue causing the limp mode or reduced power mode

Went on trip, drove a little over 500 miles to destination. When went from one freeway to another car seemed to go into a limp mode after slowing to bout 20- 25 mph. I reset by putting it in park turning...

PO456 is most times a gas cap or gasket,
to get an incorrect gear ratio the transmission has probably started to slip.

Change the fluid and filter first off in the transmission and use only atf+4 fluid and possibly the govenor pressure sensor, and change gas cap.

Does the etc engine fail safe mode engage when driving 20mpg or less in snow? I love 2003 lincoln LS. This question is not addressed in the owner's guide.

the engine fail safe [limp mode] engages for or when the engine/trans senses damage or something that can cause extreme damage[ no oil pressure] the limp mode is so u can safely get off road or to a service location

2002 Chrysler 300m transmission goes into "Limp-mode"

2002 has a known solenoid problem. The solenoid pack must be a new type. They have dates printed on them. make sure it has a date after 2003.
