Cant get fluid into brake lines after changing escalade brake lines

undo the lines immediately at the master cylinder and have some one work the pedal as you use your fingers as valves. This will prime the master cylinder and allow the fluid to be pumped through to the bleed nipples.

My brake pedal makes a squeaking sound when the pedal is depressed. The mechanic told me that the master cylinder is leaking fluid onto another part, and is making the noise, and needs to be changed....

Based on your description I would first suspect brake pads-they either are worn and the wear sensors are making the noise, or possibly the pads vibrate and cause these noises. remove the wheels and visually inspect the pads-look too at the rotors, they should be smooth and flat (no grooves) on both sides. Check fronts especially as they do the most braking. If you are, in fact leaking fluid, the evidence should be obvious-brake fluid is nasty and can cause a lot of damage to wiring and painted surfaces, ask to see the evidence and find out what the 'other part' is that he is referring to-more information would be most helpful.

Escalade Grinding sound coming from left front when stopping

Most likely cause would be disc brake pads grinding against brake rotor.

I have a 2003 cadillac escalade ext and the check brake system light came on. The ABS and traction light are also on. What could be the problem?

The most likely problem is a wheel motion sensor. If your check brake light is on, you have a problem that needs immediate attention. Refer to your owners manual to see if your Escalade is still safe to drive.

How do I remove the front brake pads on 2002 escalade?

once the wheel is removed the brake caliper assembly un bolts from the steering knukle asembly and the caliper slides off the rotor. Brake pads then are simply retained by springs that are part of the pad itself. depress piston(s) completely before reassembly. clean all parts with spray brake cleaner

I just changed the brakes all the way around a 2003 escalade and now the service brake system message appears......how do i reset that?

Check the ABS hub reluctor ring to make sure it was not damaged in any way when you put everything back together. Also check all the wires to make sure none are crimped or disconnected. Lastly check the brake master cylunder for fluid level. Sometimes after retracting the pistons forcing more fluid into the master cylinder will cause this meesage. If the fluid level is to high simply remove some.
