SOURCE: pulling a rv trailer

Look at the Coachman build tag and see what the weight rating is on the trailer. If it is within the tow rating for the truck, you should not have much issue. If you are not able to connect to the trailer brakes, make sure to give adequate extra space for braking.

I need the Owner and Maintenance Manuals for this trailer, specifically with schematics. How can I get them, preferably free? I need to gut it out and completely renovate.

Some trailer manufacturers maintain a data base. Go to their web site to see if they are available. Some RV dealers have manuals too.

Trailer brakes lock up tires on my dump trailer. when i hook up to my RV no problem

Check your electric brake setting, you need to adjust down the sensitivity setting, check the voltage at the lead where you connect the trailer plug with brakes applied then check the same plug on your RV and compare the two... Check grounds in the circuit...

2003 denali trailer wiring

If your signals & brakes are on 2 different circuits, ( for example a red lens for stop & an Amber for turn.) then you'll need to buy a converter that goes between vehicle & trailer. They're not too expensive at any trailer or RV place. I think some of the autoparts stores stock them now too.
