Question about Cars & Trucks
I have a 1998 chevy blazer 4.3 L vortex. I have a brand new fuel pump and a brand new fuel filter. I resided the harness and the 3 hoses are brand new. The fuel is still not pumping out of the fuel pump and their is not fuel getting to the filter. I really want this car to start. It starts when I sprayed starter fluid into it and then it shuts off when right when I stopped spraying. Can somebody help me figure this out?
Check the ground back by the fuel tank. There should be a 13mm bolt on top of the frame rail or one of the cross members.

it could be a fuel pump they are quite common on the chevy trucks and SUV's. If it has a "Vortec" engine which it probably does, they run whats called a poppet nozzle fuel injecter that requires i think no less than abaout 53 psi of fuel pressure to run, you would have to put a fuel pressure guage on it to be sure and they are quite expensive
