Can a track tensioners on a excavator seize as i can pump grease in and the nipple is fine ( not blocked)

If you are pumping grease in, the idler should be extending and the track should be getting tighter. If the piston is seized, you should not be able to pump grease into it UNLESS THE SEAL IS BLOWN in which case you can pump all day and the track won't get any tighter. The fix on a blown track adjuster seal requires removing the track to allow the idler and slack adjuster to be removed. Then unbolt the slack adjuster piston assembly and take it to your local heavy duty hydraulic shop for a rebuild.
This is HEAVY work. Take your time, think safety first, and ask for help if you need it. Keep in touch. I've done enough of these that it;s not scarey. What machine are you working on?

I need the proceder to change the belt how to slack off the tensioner

there is a special tool used to move the auto tensioner. you could try to use a 3/8" ratchet if it fits the hole in the tensioner or a 1/2" ratchet which ever fits. by moving it in one direction it will loosen the belt and you can remove it.

Belt diagram 1997 toyota corolla? alternator belt replacement?

The 97 Corolla has three accessory belts. The alternator belt is the one you see when you look down on the passenger side standing near the front of the engine compartment. If fits over the alternator and the engine pulley. The belt beneath it is the a/c belt (if the car has a/c). It fits over the engine pulley and the a/c compressor. The power steering belt is toward the rear of the engine compartment, on the same side. It fits around the engine pulley and the power steering pump.

Replacing the alternator belt is not too difficult. Standing in front of the car and facing towards the rear, loosen the locking bolt under the right side of the alternator. Then loosen the alternator hinge bolt on top of the alternator. Now you are ready to loosen the alternator belt tensioner adjustment bolt, accessed under the alternator from the front. Turn the tensioner until the old belt is loose enough to remove, then turn it further so that the new belt will go on easily. Replace the belt and re-tension until you have about 1/4 in. to 1/8 in. of play in the belt, tighten the lock bolt and the hinge bolt, and run the engine. If the belt squeals it means you need more tension, but do not overtension. Recheck it after a few days.

Bad squeeling of belt when engine first starts and belts have been replaced.

A belt is loose - either one of them was incorrectly fitted or a tensioner is faulty (or maladjusted). Start by identifying the loose belt  - press on it, a well adjusted one shouldn't bow more than 2 cm - then check every pulley for grease on the track and play in its shaft.

I am trying to release belt tension on 1999 taurus. it is standard engine and when i turn bolt clockwise it seem to add tension but when i turn it counterclockwise the bolt loosens what should i do? Is...

hELLO THERE:
NO YOU DO NOT WANT TO LOOSEN THIS BOLT LOOK FOR THE SMALL SQUARE HOLE THAT A SOCKET EXTENSION FITS INTO THIS IS THE HOLE THAT YOU ARE WANTING TO USE AND THEN PUSH IT OVER TO THE DRIVERS SIDE TO MAKE THE TENSIONER LOOSEN THE TENSION ON THE BELT SO YOU CAN REMOVE IT OK

Need to know how to replace clutch on my 2004 kia

Hi there,

I hope below steps can help...

1. Remove the transaxle.
2. If the pressure plate will be reused, paint or scribe the alignment marks on the pressure plate and flywheel for assembly reference.

Do not allow oil or grease to contaminate the clutch disc facing Even a trace of oil or grease may cause clutch grabbingor slipping. Handle the disc by its edges and do not touch the facing.
Loosen the pressure plate bolts one turn at a time to release the pressure plate spring tension evenly. A failure to release the tension evenly could cause distortion of the pressure plate.

3. Remove the pressure plate bolts, the pressure plate, and the clutch disc. While loosening the bolts, use SST to prevent turning of the flywheel.
