IF you have used a genuine unit as replacement it may not be necessary but usually when there is a fault code reading it stays permanent until the cpu is reset by a code reader.

Throttel postion sensors

needs the throttle body cleaned and Idle Air Control solenoid either cleaned or replaced, would have the Throttle Position Sensor looked at also when the TB is cleaned.

I cleaned the MAF sensor and wires, I also replaced the MAF sensor. The engine is still hesitating, but only when it is very cold outside. Should I try cleaning the wires again?

is the check engine light on?

Do not physically touch the heated wires, they are ceramic coated and sensitive. Only spray tehm With carb cleaner or MAF sensor cleaner.

It sounds like you are running lean. IF your TPS is adjustable, it may need adjusting. TPS = throttel position sensor. Other than that, a bad intake air temperature sensor or bad upstream O2 sensor should turn on your check engine light.

How to adjust a throttel positioning sencer on a 92 toyota paseo

your position sensor is fixed. The ECU controls it so there's no real way to adjust it. However you can adjust the throttle cable and that will move your throttle plate inside the intake.
