If fluid level was low and you add some more could have air in the system causing spongy pedal or clutch mastercylinder failing.

I have a 2003 Ford Focus lx and the clutch pedal has no resistance on it and it will not go into gear. Please help I need this car to get to work

Check the clutch fluid level. It will be a small reservoir close to the brake master cylinder. If the clutch reservoir is empty, add fluid.( brake fluid ) You may have to perform a bleed procedure at the clutch slave cylinder attached to the transmission Pump the clutch pedal several times and have someone open the bleeder screw until fluid comes out and the clutch pedal has its resistance back

Have 90 toyota 4runner just replaced slave cylinder plenty of fluid but the clutch pedal just flops around no resistence either way. any answers?

Hello, try opening the bleeder valve on the slave cylinder, leave it open, pull the pedal up and then pump the pedal down and pull it up repeatedly until you feel some pressure, close the valve and try bleeding the rest of the air out in the normal manner.

I Push my clutch down and has no resistance, i also cannot get the car in and out of gear. I drive a 1995 3000gt SL.

the clutch is hydraulic . you need to look on the fire wall for a reservoir . and fill it look on the cap it will tell you what fluid to use . after you refill it pump the clutch a few times the wait 5 minutes and pump it again . check the fluid again pump again if the fluid is leaking out you'll have this trouble again till you fix the leak.

I press my clutch and get no resistance and cant get into any gear? 2003 gmc sierra 8.1 4x4 2500hd 5 speed

Check fluid level in clutch master cylinder, if fluid is full then bleed clutch system.

If you still have no pedal resistance you will need a new master or slave cylinder for the clutch.

My 1994 ford rangers clutch pedal just lost all pedal

There are two types of clutch actuators. (Mechanical & Hydtraulic)
A. For mechanical type,- Check the clutch cable as
this could be cut from wear and tear. This is easy
to replace. You can find this connected to the
pedal and the clutch lever near the transmission.
B.For hydraulic operated - Check the level of the
hydraulic oil at the cylinder of the hydraulic
actuator under the hood. This actuator is
directly connected to the pushrod driven by the
pedal. If the actuator is leaking, you have buy
a repair kit (Hyraulic clutch repair kit for Ford
Ranger 1994 MOdel.) These items must be
repaired to activate your pedal.

Clutch pedal has came up and their is no resistance when pressing foot down on the pedal

Sounds like the clutch cable needs to be tightened up. They are adjustable. Usually where the clutch cable meets the side of the transmission. You'd want to tighten the nut to shorten the cable.

Or it could be a hydraulic clutch. Check the hydraulic fluid or the brake fluid. Some cars use the brake fluid for the clutch. Could of sprung a leak in the clutch line.

2005 suzuki Forenza....clutch pedal all the way to the floor but there is no visible leak of break fluid and fluid level is good. Pedal can be moved with no resistance (except return spring on the pedal)...

If no fluid loss, then i would squeeze the fluid line (rubber part) to the slave cylinder. If you now have pressure in the pedal replace the slave cylinder. If still no pressure then change the clutch master cylinder.
