Check your MAF sensor readings. ( MASS AIR FLOW ). You probably need to clean out your throttle body. If it's not reading properly, it could def. kill your car. Hope this helps, James Booth. Please rate this. :))

Could be a fuel pump issue, there was a tsb on fuel pumps going bad, although it was usually a problem with the jet pump. The main fuel pump, in the left side of the tank as I remember would pump it dry, and the jet pump wouldnt pump to the other tank, therefor over heating and possibly popping the fuse for the fuel pumps. You can take the lower part of the back seat out and then gain access through the floor to the tanks. id try to change the fuel filter first. It could also be a regulator or injectors

SOURCE: I have been trouble shooting

Some fault code is stored there? Check engine light turn on? If this answer is YES, I suggest scanned the ECU to know exactly about what fault code is there.

Check fuel pressure pump, spark or misfires, IAC and MAF sensor. The scanner helps to rule out several of these options.

Keep us updated.

SOURCE: Help! Changed battery but still don't work for a long time

you probably have a short in the amplifier under the driver's seat. I had the same problem. Bought mine used, but the amp had water damage due to the vents for it on the left side of the driver's seat letting in water, probably snow or something that fell in there. Was $1200 to replace. Basically your car will be fine for a couple weeks, maybe a month then the battery will die.

Why low pressure oil

I have had this same issue. I my case the oil pressure sending units continued to fail. After replacing them 3 times I gave up and just let it go. You need to be sure it really IS a sending unit issue and not really low oil pressure however.

I have a 1994 jag xjs. It sat up for awhile and now I dont have any tail lights, parking lights and rear windows wont go down..anyone have any email is

All european cars have experienced at one time or another a ground issue at the fuse box, locate the fuse breaker block and check for corrosion and electrolysis, also check your battery ground at the battery as well as the chassis. Usually when only a few items are affected by electrical issues the groung is the problem.
Hope this helps.

The heater dont put out much heat

Hey mikeykevin78,
I actually just purchased a 88' Plymouth Reliant K LE, sedan w/ 2.2L automatic for ~$700 w/ ~113,000m, which had been sitting for quite some time & the original owners, like most people, didn't do a very good job on seeing to the service maintenance. So that said, I've been working on it since last weekend. One of the several issues that i've had to deal w/ was infact the heater. When i started the heater blower & A/C worked fine, but as w/ you, it didnt get hot. The radiator fluid looked as if it had mud or something in it, but more likely someone put some of that cheap 'Bars leak' (the kind in the tube) thats used to help stop radiator leaks. After i flushed the radiator out good & put new fluid in it, well, the engine started getting hot. So i put a new Thermostat in it & it more or less solved that problem along w/ the heater issue. It doesn't get really hot, but it'll keep you from freezing to death. I suspect that the heator coil might need to be checked for any 'gunk' or blockage &/or the coolant temperature sensor is bad. The type, amount,& ratio might also have a negative effect or if the coolant has air bubbles in it, if the Temp. gauge floats up & down then you may have air in the coolant & or a bad sensor. I'm going to be purchasing a repair manual since it appears the valves are out of adjustment & but hopefully not, the connecting rod may be loose or damaged. If you'd want & don't know. I can tell you how to perform a quick and easy diagnostic check to see if you have any 'Trouble codes', which if so may tell you exactly whats wrong. Your more than welcome to email me at Hope this helps you out in some way.

Stalls out and putters when idle

Remove the flexible plastic tube and check for crack(s) or air leaks.

one small hole on the air intake tube will give incorrect amount of air into the engine.
