Its not something the DIY would do. Most people either buy a rebuilt part or send the injector to a shop to have it rebuilt.

Hello I have a Toyota Tacoma pre-runner 2004, and I have a codes P0300: CYLINDER MISFIRE DET...P0301 and p0302, cylinders 1and 2 are misfire can I fix it or do I have to rebuild the eng.?

I would suggest that an engine rebuild is the absolute last resort .
misfires can be from electronic control or injector problems
injector problems can be from ecm control but are more often dirty injector tips or low fuel pressure in the fuel manifold from bad pump or faulty fuel pressure regulator
it can be from a venting problem in the tank system but as that code is not up I would have a pressure test done on the fuel manifold to see if it is a regulator or pump problem
it can be plugs (not often) but can be faulty HT leads (touching each other) , moisture in the leads insulation, distributor cap or coils if multiple coils
if it is mechanical suck as valves or valve seat inserts , this can be checked with a compression test but if that is the case would need a head rebuild only
o I would concentrate on fuel pressure first, injectors rebuild second and by then you should have fixed the problem
try using a water disspersent (WD- 40 or the like ) all around the plugs ,leads ,coils to remove any moisture

How do you rebuild and clean an injector for a 2001 chevy metro

You can't rebuild one. As for cleaning, a well equipped shop can do a so-so job of cleaning them. It would probably help, although some say it doesn't make much difference.
Best practice is to buy new. Next best is have yours cleaned or go to a salvage yard and buy cheap. But then you would want to buy new o-ring seals for them.

Hesitation on acceleration 96 suburban

Check your fuel filter for clogging and/or have fuel pump pressure checked..Am assuming it's fuel injection,if so have injectors checked/cleaned..if a carb system you may need a cleaning, carb rebuild or simply air/fuel adjustment.
Remote possibility of electrical issue,I've seen this happen as early signs of coil or coil pack going bad

1986 cadillac when i go to turn the car over the fuel injectors only drip fuel and donot spray... i took the fuel pressure reg apart and cleaned it all up and bought a rebuild kit... still doing the same...

most likely (in the order):
Fuel pump Fuel filter Dirty injectors
To check the fuel pump just put a fuel pressure gauge in the sytem and check the pressure when the pump primes, should be around 40-6- psi. This can be caused by both the pump and filter but most likely the pump unless the filter is VERY dirty and has never been changed (has it?)
if the pressure is good the injectors can be removed and taken some place where they clean and measure them.

Would like a print and some info on rebuilding a chevy tbi carburator. This is for a 1989 chevrolet fuel injection TBI carburator. Thanks, Jerry

Here is a real good page on TBI

When you ask for the kit at the part store some list it as a carburator rebuild kit and some list it as a Throttle Body rebuild kit. Not much to rebuild, Clean it put in new gaskets and o-rings. There is two different kits one comes with a new fuel pressure regulator and one does not. Best to check fuel pressure and fuel filter prior to purchasing the kit. Fuel injectors should be tested and cleaned by a shop. I found a carquest auto parts that had the machines to do it and cost me $40 for 2 injectors.

Truck idles rough when cold

You can try to clean it. Remove the valve, and clean between the valve and it's seat. After cleaning it, pour a solvent (gas works well) and see if the gas leaks past the valve. If it does, replace the valve.
A rough idle when cold may also be caused by dirty fuel injectors. First step to clean the injectors is to add Chevron Techron fuel injection cleaner to the fuel. Use double the strength listed on the bottle. Don't waste money on other brands, they don't work well.
