Question about 1999 Nissan Quest
Replaced crankshaft positioning sensor,replaced fuel filter, plugs/wires checked ok.
Can u see if its loosing spark or fuel when it shuts off can give you a better diaganosis

tork converter is locking out see if you can unplug it as a quick fix it will be a round plug on the training should fix the problem but remember its only temporary as to you will lose overdrive and kill gas mileage by 5-6 miles a gallon but it wont damage anything

The engine speed signal code is generated from the crank sensor. The crank sensor is located on the back side of the engine block. See image.
