The obus part of the seat is not working and is pushing out as far as possible. Been told the motor is shot. How can this be fixed or where can you find the motor.

yes its possible if it was me i would call around to a good salvage yard and try to locate one and a self serve salvage would be cheaper.

Chanses are its the resister, it should be located by the heater motor, most are above heater box behind glove box.

SOURCE: I have a 2003 chev silverado, 4x4 2500 both power seats and seat heaters stopped working at the same time, Looking for reason why, all fuses seem to be good. I was told to replace the 25 amp relay on
Ok I don't know who these people are giving advice but I hope they are not gm mechanics. There is a fuse under the hood marked MBEC 1 50amp. If it blows it knocks out both power seats seat heaters and power windows passenger side front and back. I can't believe all this wiring ****!
