SOURCE: can anyone help? i need torque settings for head gasket and settings for inlet tappets and exusht

Find complete torque specs here:
http://fme-cat.com/LiveDocs/99999.pdf
and don't forget that you MUST buy new head bolts since they are torque to yield and MUST OT be reused!!

I suspect that you at least need to check the valve lash but as long as your head gasket is not dramatically different than original (which it should not be because that would change your compression ratio) you should be close to okay (I would check it). Or if you had any machine work done to the head, in which case you certainly would need to adjust the valve lash.

Having trouble installing the trans into the truck. cant seem to get it to go up against the engine. cant figure out how to get torqe converter off engine.

your torque converter will have two little drive dogs in it that fit into your pump ,if not lined up will leave trans about and inch away from engine housing .torgue normally bolted to a plate a ring of bolts around it remove throung inspection hole ,hope this help richochet have to remove torgue and make sure it is in drive dogs on trans other wise you will never line it up in position

Cars-

please specify what torque you need. The head bolt torgue? The lugnut torque? The motor mount torque. Every bolt has a required torque. Mr. Rodney Long
