There is a sensor located on the transmission located at the right side of the transmission looking down from the left side of the car.I took it out and found it has a nylon gear attached. I think it has...

I would suggest the sensor is the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS)...Colors are: Pink, Brown and Black/White...However with this sensor inoperative you should have a Check Engine Light (CEL) on with a P0715 and/or P0501...Is the CEL on? ...saailer

My safari is missing at plug 2,5 and will not pass . how do i fix this .. ever used that stuff to pass did not work plz help me out

If you are missine at plugs 2 and 5 then you should find out why. It could be something simple like plug wires or it could mean that something major is happening in your engine. You can check the wires by pulling one at a time and seeing if it passes a spark by holding it close to the frame and looking for the spark. If is sparks then pull the plugs and check their condition, if they are oil coated then your rings are bad in that cylinder. If they are fuel coated then the spark plug is not firing.

Find location of pvc valve for 2001 GM silverado 2500HD 8100 vortec engine. I think I have found it however it does not appear evident. This item is on the top of the engine, has a black plastic covering...

Its hard to know what you are looking at, or why. The PCV valve should be in one of the valve covers, Some engines have a heater so it doesnt freeze up and not plug with ice.

Hello i have a 1987 jeep wrangler and it won't

The wire should go into the same harness as do the remainder of the wires from the switch. If you tell me which pin the wire attaches to in the harness plug I can tell you what it does/ The two center ones opposite the clip are for the starter.(Plug facing you, clip at the top, two center pins in lower row) Likely the wire you are looking at is to the starter relay But, if the reverse lights are on, make sure the neutral switch is adjusted properly before doing anything else...if it is, a contact inside the switch may be broken and bridging the reverse contacts.
