Once a fuse blows, your best to look at wiring diagrams.
You pretty much know replacing it, will only blow again, as
the cause wasn't corrected
You will need help at a repair shop

SOURCE: 98 stratus won't start

Sis had a 1997 Dodge Stratus and experienced issues with the cigarette lighter. Car would not start and I was able to trace an ignition fuse as the problem. Replaced the fuse and the car would attempt to crank but not start and the fuse would burn. Repaired the cigarette lighter and changed the ignition fuse but fuse continued to burnout. Pulled the accessory fuse and car attempted to start without the ignition fuse blowing. Put the accessory fuse back in place and the car started up no problem,

SOURCE: 2001 Dodge Stratus will not start

Take air intake hose off at throttle body, open up throttle plate, and spray about 2 or 3 seconds of WD-40 into the throttle body. Now try to start it, if it kicks over & starts for a second or 2, then you've got spark, but not fuel in most cases. Let us know results. Can you hear a "hum " from rear area (gas tank) ,of car when you turn key to on position, but not start?

Why would a 2000 Stratus rough idle then die?

if now it won`t start it could be a spark(ignition)problem, check for spark at the plug. you should check for a code in the pcm this may help, not all codes set the check engine light. could also be a bad fuel pressure problem.

2000 Dodge Stratus wont fire

You need to check for spark. Usualy when you have no spark at all it, will be the ignition module. It is what the coils are plugged into. It should look like a flat silver plate.

My 2000 blazer was running fine then I parked it to go in the store and it will turn over but won't start tried about every 10 minutes for an hour or so.Any ideas?

You need to see what you lost, spark or fuel.
Turn the key on and listen at the fuel cap for a whirl sound that will only last a few seconds. This cycle will only repeat itself if you let it sit for half a minute. No sound is no fuel pump.
Spark is tested with a spark tester grounded with a plug wire on it, have someone turn it over and look for spark.
Hope this will get you pointed in the right direction.

Lights work, but turn key and nothing except brake light comes on but no check engine, etc., and starter won't even click, no check engine light comes on dodge stratus

check the fuse under the hood for your starter and if it is blown replace it however this is only a quick fix as I have just fixed this problem, after time you will continue to blow fuses and the problem is your starter. However check the fuse first and see if it is blown, if so replace try to start your car, if it starts have the starter checked as well as the ignition switch.

98 stratus won't start

Check the fuel shutoff valve. to see if it is on. press the reset button to do this. if it stays on. The answer could be pinched wires (a short) from the fuse wiring back towards the shutoff valve. if the valve shuts off try checking for current with a test light. if no current . The valve is bad. it seems like a short or open circuit on the fuel system wiring.
