Question about 1993 Eagle Talon
I have a 1993 eagle talon es 2.0 5 speed, starter i know is bad on it but i just replaced the water pump and timing belt now when i try to push start it it acts like the emergency brakes are on as the tires lock up on it i am out of ideas and solutions on this car need help badly as it is my only mode of transportation and i have a family to take care of and no way to work already missed one week trying to fix it.
Sorry to hear that. First thing I would do is put the transmission in neutral and make sure the engine is turning (by hand) and not locked up. Put a socket on the crank pulley bolt and turn at least one full revolution. Jack up one or both rear wheels and check they spin freely. If wheels are locked, loosen the cable adjustment for the e-brake. Hope you find it, and good luck.

Explain your meaning of:
won't turn over and start.
Can you hear the starter motor running but the engine is not physically cranking the engine as opposed to the engine actually starting up and running ?.
Or dose the starter just make a grinding noise and is not moving the engine ?

First thing you can do to try a simple fix is replace each spark plug, check each plug for signs of fuel/air mixture
if your plug is black is rich, if ur plug is white is lean.
in this case repost your findings. in the mean time if they look golden or light brown, replace them and make sure they are gapped to ur level of psi you are running.
you can find the gap specs for how much boost you are running on most DSM websites or by searching.
