Buying audi a4 with 82k on the clock what should have been done

1 Answer

Everything you have always done on any vehicle
you have owned
Was that done------absolutely not
Most people do as little as possible
If & when I buy a used vehicle ,I put it
in stands for at least a month & change all
fluids & go thru every system, before I put
it on the road
I take apart brand new vehicles & change fluids
the first 30 to 60 days & have for 49 years.
I wouldn't own a new vehicle without pulling the spark
plugs the next day. You would be supprised at what you
find.
I won't buy any vehicle without visiting a transmission
shop & asking about the unit in a possible purchased
I did once own a trans shop but I have always done those thing

i,personally, have NEVER heard of an AUDI defect that cannot be rectified.(are you sure your not buying shares in that dealer.....)take it to a VW dealer (who has the same diagnostic computer)and get a written diagnostics done, then you can see what needs to be done.then decide if its something you can do or they can fix for you...if problem persists, contact AUDI main importers, then AUDI in Germany, they will be very helpfull.

Just bought Audi 2002 a6 - how do I change the clock time

The clock adjustment is done with the leftmost knob protruding from the instrument cluster. Pull it toward you and twist to adjust the hour. Pull it again to adjust the minutes.

Setting the clock on an Audi A4 '98 1.8s

If it's an analog clock, pull out on the stalk closest to it (the small one protruding from the cluster), and then turn it to the right - that will advance the clock.

2002 Audi A6 - clock adjustment

Hi,

I have the same car, and also don't have a manual. I found out to set the clock, pull lightly on the dial in front of the display. The display will blink and all you need to do is twist slightly to set time, date, etc. Hope this helps! How do you love it so far??
