SOURCE: i need a wiring diagram for fog lights oem to my toyota

The link below is a Typical fog lamp / driving lamp hookup. Keep in mind that in most states, for these lamps to be 'legal' (and thus pass inspection), you must wire them such that:

1. You can cut them off (in other words, there must be a switch installed to turn them off)

and

2. They may only be operated with the low beams. (therefore, you must power your on/off switch from the low beam circuit)

2002 kia sportage good batt good alternater good fuses and the alternater still not charging battery

not sure on this model but i think the alternator is sensed and activated by the ECU ,look on the back and see how many wires you have ,now the big thick heavy cable should have a permanant 12v supply ,one of the other two wires is the warning light control and the other one is the senseing cable for the ECU ,now this one you connect to the ignition switch supply so its activated when you turn ignition on .Yes i know what the so called experts say but old cars were self exciting alternators and the reason its done by the ECU is save fuel by turning the alternator off when current consumption is low with daytime running. Not sure what the colours are for the two wires but look on the back of the nalternator and the warning light could be marked with WL .or find out in the handbook or disconnect them one at a time to locate the warning light .

I have a 1988 300zx non turbo 3.0 just replaced the ecu thinking it was the problem but its not. My car will turn over and it sparks, tested the fuel pressure and it makes 42lbs so thats not the problem...

The pulse to switch the coils comes from the crankshaft sensor via the ecu. Pulse to switch injectors comes from the CAMshaft sensor via the ecu. Check injector wiring plugs and confirm there is an ignition live of 12v at one side. Other side should have an earth pulse when cranking.Once you know which is missing you can trace the fault backwards. ( if no ignition live then check wiring, relay, fuse etc) if no earth switching check camshaft sensor and wiring.

Dicribe what fuse to diable the enging to start i need to nowasap

If you are looking for a method of preventing the vehicle from being stolen, a better approach is to cut off the ignition supply to the engine management unit or ECU.. Use a circuit diagram of the ECU wiring to determine the ignition feed or feeds and then use a relay to interrupt those feeds. You can switch the relay using a hidden switch or through a vehicle alarm or anti theft device. Disconnecting the starter can be defeated under the hood by shorting the starter solenoid but cutting the power to the ECU cannot easily be bypassed. One word of warning though, DO NOT cut any wires unless you are 100% certain that the wires you are cutting are the correct ones because you can cause the ECU to set fault codes in its memory which can seriously affect the driveability of the vehicle. If you have any doubts, consult a qualified person..

Is there anyway to hard wire my ignition in my 1989 camaro rs

Sure. Not sure what you mean by "hard wire", but if you don't like the ecu control over the timing and spark advance, you can simply revert to distributer that either has points or a self contained electronic ignition that uses a standard coil. One way to do that is to buy a distributer for a boat that uses the same engine. Marine applications don't use a separate ecu, so all you need is a marine distributer and an ignition coil. Cost about $275. I have done it many times when the whole ecu, harness, etc., is too much of a mess to work with.

If you are speaking of the ignition switch, that is also easy. You can just buy a universal ignition switch for $5 and run the basic power, ignition, starter, and accessory wires to that.
