What does it do when you try to start it? how many miles does it have on it?
The starter can be drawing so much current that the vehicle battery cannot start it by itself I recommend a starting system draw test be done, most qualified shops can do this test for very little or even free. You can have a corroded cable or a bad Ground Connection that is robbing your starting amperage Even though you have voltage you need AMPS to start the car
If this information is helpful please give me a fixya! rating I owned an auto diagnostics facility here in Seattle for 14 years I believe you will find my recommendation correct. Thankd You, Randy

SOURCE: brand new battery - car won't start. Even when

The battery cables can have corrosion at the other end of them. The clamps are probably OK since the battery was just replaced but the other ends can cause problems too.
The red cable is connected either to an external solenoid or directly to the starter terminal. Since the latter point is exposed to splashed water, it is a common culprit.
The negative cable will go to either the body sheet metal or the engine block but those two will be interconnected so the problem can be at one of three points.
ALWAYS disconnect the negative terminal first when troubleshooting! Otherwise you risk slipping with a tool and shorting the battery to ground.

SOURCE: Battery tests at 12 volts but won't start but starts with jumper cables to other car

Check the voltage when cranking the engine, if it drops below 10 or 11 volts the battery probably needs replacing. Also check the voltage when it is running, it should be 14 volts or more. If it is not then the alternator is not charging.

I have a 1999 jeep gc laredo and it wont start replaced the starter and battery but it just click. i also checked all fuses and relays but nothing worked it just clicks

Take a pair of jumper cables, and use the ground side of the jumper cables, and clamp on the negative battery post, and the other end of the negative ground of the jumper cables,to the engine, anywhere that is a good ground, then try and start it,if it starts, then the ground cable on the jeep,is bad, replace it,you might check the connections on the battery post, clean the grey,or black color residue off the battery post, and inside the cable ends to where they shine. This residue acts as a insulator, and will not allow contact. The new battery can have this residue on it,even if it is new.

You can jumpstart using jumper cables. Then drive car around to get battery charged back up or get a battery charger and charge battery.

Ignition

Sounds like the battery is dead, you have just enough power to have the lights come on, but no cranking of the starter. Try putting the battery on a trickle charger, or hook up jumper cables to another car which is running. Let it run with the jumper cables connected for two mintues before you try and start your car.
