replace bulb, park and tail is same bulb, if bulb is good just clean re install, you will actually see if the filament is broken or burned

Could be the socket if you look in the end and has a melted look it would not make a good connection on the light

You go thru that access to remove the whole assembly to get to the bulb.

You need to remove three bolts and actually pull out the whole headlight. It is no fun at all.

under the frount hood the head light has a crank if there is no wrench in your tool kit for this a #7 socket will work there will be a plug you pop off a awarows that will say on or off just turn and the hole head light will come out.

Typically, the entire assembly gets removed. Be sure not to change any ADJUSTMENT screws.
There are usually 3 to 5 mounting screws, and the whole component comes out.
You should be able to easily change the bulb after that.

If you are talking about the headlight. The headlight assembly slides forward out the front of the car. The cheap plastic locks break easily. Practice on the passenger side, it is easier to see and touch. I have a 2003, hope it is the same.

To change the headlight, you basically have to pop the grill assembly off the front of the trailblazer, then the individual headlight assemblies can be removed to get at the bulb connectors

open the hood
remove the push pins on the front panel across the rad remove panel
there will be 2 retainers they will be black or white can't remember
lift up on the retainers
pull the headlight forward
change the bulb then reassemble

remove the front bumper if you mean the whole unit if you mean the bulb its just as easy to remove the headlight
