SOURCE: I cannot get the timing marks on Crank and fly wheel alinged

to be honest it not as easy as it sounds to line them both up,,,,you may need to use a locking stud to do this,, and i have seen engines that just wont line up even to half a tooth out,,, but they run just fine anyhow, its all down to just how good the pullys were cut and marked

Gwm Steed 2.5D Cleaned crank sensor now it does not want to start what could be the problem.

How did you clean it? If submerged in parts washer, replace unit. I have no idea what a Gwm Steed might be, but why did you clean this part?

GWM Steed 2008 2.8 diesel turbo. The common fuel rail started leaking. It was fixed. When idle it did not leak but when refs up it started leaking again. Think could be due to too much pressure.

It should not over pressurize as there is a pressure relief valve on the pump I would take it back to the mechanic who repaired the vehicle and ensure when the common rail was replaced that all high pressure lines where also replaced
