SOURCE: Rough idle, Car shakes, sputters and misfires upon acceleration

It sounds like you may have a problem feeding the fuel to your engine, I had the same problem with my 89 RS. All the 1989 model's fuel systems were recalled. I think you may need a new fuel pump. The fuel pump is located inside the gas tank in the rear of the car right under the rear axle. The fuel pump itself isn't too expensive, but with other small parts such as the electrical harness upgrade and fuel filter and the labor you should be looking somewhere in the $500 range. I hope this helps.

If it does turn over but won't start, check for fuel and spark, if not spark then check to see if the crank sensor is cover with dirt.....

SOURCE: mitsubishi outlander cooling fans not operating

There is a Recall to replace your cooling fan module because of this concern.

Open your hood and look at the black box bolted to your radiator fan by the battery. If it does not have a green dot on it, you have not had the replacement fan module installed.

Contact your local dealer with your VIN handy to verify the recall has not been done and to schedule an appointment.

If the recall has been done, verify if you have power coming out of the module to the fans, as the fans do burn out eventually.... but rarely both at once.

It very well could be the strut.
smaller chance could be the CV axle.
Also have the splash guards/heat shields checked to make sure they are all tight in place.

My 2004 Mitsubishi Outlander shakes when I go over 60MPH

It is probably out of alignment either that or your tires need to be balanced. Neither of these are major problems. Take it to your nearest tire shop.

2003 navigator and right around 60mph i get a wicked shake or **** in the car. i think it may be a mis fire on the cylinder but not sure

Had the same problem, if it sputters/jerks around 50-60MPH with your foot slightly on the accelerator, replace all 8 COPs(Ignition coil over plug) and sparkplugs....It will get worst and end up ditching you!! NOTE: Make sure if you replace the sparkplugs, that the you or your mechanic works on the motor COLD and are very careful removing and replacing them. These 5.4L on 97-04 models are known for very little plug threading, therefore ejecting the plug out of the motor. This will result in major engine damage. Hopefully this helps

My neon 2002 send codes p0500, p0700 and p1684 when i stop in a light the revolutions will go from 900 to 500 and it will start shaking if i hit the gas pedal it recovers to 900rpm

i had the same problem at stop lights.

i had the computer flashed to the latest version at the dealer for free, and the shaking is gone and idle is back to normal. i was kicking the car back to normal idle just like you.

(although, i'm not sure if there's a deeper problem or not. now i'm experiencing sluggish acceleration and sometimes have difficulty accelerating over 60mph. sometimes fine, sometimes not. so you might run into that next...)
