SOURCE: how many liters of ATF needed
engine needs to be warm to check fluid. needs to be in park and then you check fluid level, pull dip stick and wipe off then reinsert and remove for corect reading, I can't help you with capacities but they should me in you owners manual. All ATF are the same. I suggest that you use the one that chrysler uses on a regular service.
Otherwise you can drain empty your automatic gearbox and refill it with one of your choise. You what they say you get what you pay, quality oils and generally fluids are expensive. Don't be cheapy because maybe you pay it on the future. Believe you don't wanna know much does it cost to repair a gearox. I hope a help you a little...

Please trace the leakage before you are sure of what to replace. But I bet you will have to replace the entire hoses that distribute the ATF in case of rust or expirt.

a drain and fill is about 3.5 litres.if you pump it out completely including the torque converter,about 10 litres

I definetly highly reccomend you to use Mitsubishi genuine Diamond SPIII Fluid, you'll feel your transmission more powerfull, and will help you to keep it just like new. I've tried with "Import multivehicle" from Castrol but a within 6 months the gears began to slip.
