Time to look at the internal parts of the transmission. Blown seals, most likely the clutches are bad.

go google and type in---workshop manual for newholland skid steer loader model ls170--- if there is one for free it will be in pdf version
You could be lucky and if not there is a site that will come up like manuals .com where you will have to buy the manual

1996 newholland 7840 sl my question is I have a whine in the backend and it gets worse when hot


check the oil level first ,then if ok you could try adding a oil thickening agent but i think it may be past this stage and needs new bearings

Where is the clutch bleeder valve located on New Holland 2001 Model TS110 tractor? Anyone have a schematic, an answer? Surely could use an answer from the good pros out there.


Hopefully, you can increase the size of the image below. I think the bleeder valve is the tube labeled 9. You would have to loosen the cap, have a helper press the clutch down so fluid comes out the tube, then quickly put the cap back on. Looks like it's near the transmission area. Can you get to it from underneath without removing the cab? Can't imagine you'd need to remove the cab.
