Have you checked the fuel pump relay to see if it is sending power to the pump ? You get 3 seconds of power when you turn the key on.

She just stoped dead on the road i got it started again atfer turing for a bit and there was white smoke pourin outa her then just stoped again

sounds to me like you have a head gasket leak. white smoke is caused by coolant leaking into the cylinders and being burned along with the gas. take it to your local repair shop and have them take a look.

Have a 2005 chevy colorado, ran it out of gas and now after fueling it it won't start. when you turn the key i don't hear the fuel pump. is there a fuse or a switch to push to reset it?

I would start by replacing the fuel filter. And if that doesn't work ? listen for the fuel pump when you turn the key on. If you don't hear the fuel pump go on when the ignition is set to on (Just before turing the engine over) ? Check the relay or the fuse. Its not ever a good idea to run any vehicle low on fuel. Could cause a number of problems. but it sounds like fuel filter got clogged and sucked up all the junk at the bottom of the tank.

My car is crunking but it wont start. What could be the problem because it wants to start but it wont? 1996 accur

In all honesty, it could be many things. First, make sure your battery has good connection. Check all fuses. Your car may not be getting fuel to the engine. It could be your fuel pump, fuel filter, or a relay, if you have one. You can spray gas or engine starter in your intake to see if you are. If it starts and then dies, it is probably fuel related. Check to see if your fuel pump is turing on. If your car is getting fuel, you should begin checking your ignition system. This includes distributor, spark plugs, distributor cap, spark wires, and coils. There are also sensors to check. Try to get your car coded and it should narrow your look. Hope this helps you.

Driving over grade, ran low on gas & got a flat tire..rumbled to stop, added gas tried turing over sounded flooded, let set overnight, added more gas would'nt start, pulled gas line no gas...

check the fuel pump relay. it could have went out. If this is good and you still do not have gas being pumped then it is your fuel pump or a really dirty fuel filter. If the relay is good then I would replace the fuel filter and then if that does not fix it then go with the fuel pump
