Sounds as if you have a charging problem and you are dealing with a low battery. Yes I understand that the lights are on but your starter demands a lot of amps and if the battery is low you will get the symptom you are describing. I would say a possible bad alternator is the problem but testing needs to be done before you go out and buy parts...

Even though the lights work, the battery may still be just short on power to turn the motor over thus the clicking. Try charging the battery or jumping, if you still get a clicking it would be the starter solenoid. Considering the year you may just want to replace the whole starter.

you may of blown a fuse- this can happen if when you jumped it you had the wires backwards - it causes a voltage spike and can blow fuses
