SOURCE: DTC P1346 toyota

Hi there:

This trouble code is described in the repair manual as a problem with the VVT (variable valve timing) bank 1, this is the cylinder head closest to the firewall. There is a deviation between the crank position sensor and the vvt sensor on the camshaft, I would suggest rechecking the belt timing again, especially on the bank 1 side, make sure that all the electrical connectors are plugged in for the cam and crank sensors.

Hope this helps; also keep in mind that your feedback is important and I`ll appreciate your time and consideration if you leave some testimonial comment about this answer.

Thank you for using FixYa, have a nice day.

You can get a Mini VCI to clear code, it is widely used in Toyota cars. and really a cheap tool.

Most likely low on freon, a bad sensor can also cause this.

the p1346 code is deviation in crankshaft position and v v t i sensor signal.... chances are you're timing is worn out and will need to be replaced. sorry to say but this job is not for the diy (do it yourselfer) and again sorry
